What's Happening

The City of Peterborough is developing a plan for the neighbourhood park known as Heritage Park, located at 380 Carnegie Avenue in Ward 5. This plan will be used to develop a vision for the project and identify future park improvements.

As part of the Park Plan we are collecting feedback from the neighbourhood. Your feedback will be crucial to developing a vision and determining which park features and amenities will be best suited to meet the needs of your community. Please take this opportunity to talk with members of your household and take part in helping us identify your priorities for the development of Heritage Park.

Virtual Public Information Meeting

Please join us on Wednesday, April 7 at 6:30 p.m.

There will be a brief information session followed by a group engagement session where you can share your vision for the park development. The meeting will be hosted through Microsoft Teams.

Heritage Park Development Survey

A new playground will be incorporated as part of this neighbourhood park development project. We invite all households that use and live near the park to complete an online survey that will tell us what features you would like to see in the playground and to make suggestions to create an inclusive play environment. Your feedback will help us design a playground that will respond to the unique needs of your neighbourhood. Families are encouraged to involve the children in your home and have fun completing the survey.

We look forward to hearing your feedback. Once the survey has closed we will provide an update summarizing the survey findings. Future information about the park development and a concept plan will be updated as available.

The survey will be open until 11:55 p.m. on April 21, 2021.

This survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.

Thank you for participating!
