Peterborough Biathlon

I love to be outdoors and invent different ways to explore Peterborough all the time. In pre-pandemic days, I would resent days when I need to drive to work rather than walk or bike. It just didn't allow enough time outside before being in the office all morning. I started cycling year round in my 20's when I didn't have another way to get to work, other than walking, which took almost an hour. Having my bike at work can be fun, going for a quick spin up the trail at lunch or after work, but in the winter, I discovered the best! I brought my skates to work and biked over to the canal at lunch, had a marvelous skate, and then biked back. Sitting in the office on those afternoons, I felt joyous and so lucky to live in Peterborough where these outdoor luxuries can be an everyday encounter.
