Program Update: HART Hub Services Open at The Crossing

As part of the newly launched Peterborough Homelessness and Addiction Recovery Treatment (HART) Hub, additional services are now available at The Crossing for residents of the program.

The Peterborough HART Hub is led by Fourcast in partnership with community organizations including the City of Peterborough Social Services, Peterborough Community Health Centre, Canadian Mental Health Association Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge, Elizabeth Fry Society of Peterborough, Peterborough County-City Paramedics, and Peterborough Regional Health Centre. Together, these partners are working to provide more coordinated, person-centred care that helps people move toward recovery, stable housing, and improved health.

Through this partnership, individuals accessing The Crossing can be connected with a range of supports, including:

  • Mental health and addictions services
  • Primary care
  • Housing and supportive housing services
  • Case management and income supports
  • Employment and social services
  • Indigenous services and culturally appropriate supports
