What's Happening
The City of Peterborough is inviting residents to learn about the rehabilitation project for the Sherin Avenue boat launch.
The Parks and Outdoor Recreation Facilities Study included a provision study focused on access to boat launches in the community. As the study indicates, the Sherin Avenue launch is the only access to the Otonabee River from the east bank, South of Lock 19.
Due to the current condition of the boat launch, the site is closed at this time. Plans are in place to rehabilitate this launch to provide public access at this location.
